Minah Shannon

The undeniable breakout star of the BBC’s flagship show The Traitors in 2025, 30 year old Minah lives in Liverpool with her husband and two year old daughter.

Chosen by Claudia as one of her Traitors from day one, Minah relished the challenge and showed a phenomenal natural talent to perform the role. Universally hailed as the shows’ ‘best ever Traitor’, Minah expertly strategised and led her sisterhood of Traitors through most of the series undetected.  

Since leaving the show in 2025 Minah’s star has been on the rise. During The Traitors Series 4, Minah moved from contestant to correspondent for Morning Live, covering the weekly goings on live from the sofa.

Minah has also become a regular on The One Show, featuring in their VTs such as The Big School Meal Study, The Big Bell Race andWho Cares Bins, to name a few.

Since debuting on BBC Radio 1 in 2025, Minah has remained on their presenter rotation across shows including The Group Chatwith Vicky Hawkesworth & Nat O’leary and Sam & Danni’s Weekend Afternoon show. In 2025, Minah worked across Radio 1’s Big Weekend & Reading Festival, with her returning to Reading Festival with Radio 1 for 2026. 

Not only has Minah continued to grow in her broadcasting career, but she has also been gaining significant experience in the live events space, from hosting The Traitors: Uncloaked Panel at Crossed Wires Festival as well as being the live event host and interviewer for Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai’s book tour in Edinburgh. 

In 2026, Minah launched her YouTube series, Minah Tries, which takes her on a journey of trying new and exciting things, with some special guests along the way including Stacey Dooley, Freddie Fraser and Vicky Hawkesworth. 

Minah has worked on campaigns for brands including Nespresso, Maltesers, Vimto, The Commonwealth Games x The National Lottery and Sun Foods.
